Abstract

A souvenir program for the 75th diamond birthday observance of useful life of Eartha Mary Magdalene White. Program contains biographical information on Eartha M. M. White and Clara White. Historical information, letters and commendations from many people including Mary McLeod Bethune and A. Phillip Randolph are also included in the souvenir program. The occasion was planned by The State Federation of Colored Women's Clubs for Florida, of which Miss White was a charter member. The main purpose of the Diamond Birthday Observance was not for Miss White personally. The proceeds went to paying the $26,000 mortgage against the Clara White Mission, Incorporated. PALMM.
