Maceo Elk Lodge #8, Jacksonville, Florida was approved in 1898 and is the seventh oldest Maceo Elks Lodge in the United States.

The Maceo Elks Lodge contributed to civic and social welfare through offering medical programs, literacy programs, and scholarship funds for the African American community. The Elks also organized a Civil Liberties Department to look at issues related to freedom.
