The Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex: Home of Beach Volleyball

The Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex became one of the premiere on-campus beach volleyball campus facilities in collegiate athletics when it opened February 8, 2020. “The Coop” is located just north of the UNF Softball Complex and features five courts, a digital scoreboard and bleachers that seat a capacity of 300 people.

University of North Florida beach volleyball held its inaugural season in 2012, and since then the Ospreys have hosted home events at Jacksonville Beach, Jacksonville University, and in St. Augustine. Osprey beach volleyball held its inaugural contests on campus Friday, Feb. 21 when it hosted FIU, FAU, Georgia State and Mercer in a historic day for the University of North Florida.
