37th Street School
Thomas Square Streetcar Historic District
SCAD Wallin Hall 2 Savannah, GA. Built in 1912, Wallin Hall originally served as an elementary school, called 37th Street School. The 25,887-square-foot building was designed in the Prairie Style, featuring buff brick sloping walls and an ornamental bell tower. It is now the college arts building. The foundation studies classes taught at Wallin Hall focus on studio arts and build visual, conceptual and creative skills. The crisp, classic design of Wallin Hall creates welcoming spaces for first-year students to begin their studies at SCAD.
