The Edgewater Hotel is located in Winter Garden, Florida. It opened in 1927 as a very technologically advanced hotel with an Otis elevator and a sprinkler system throughout the building. It closed during the late 1960's and re-opened in 2003 after a historic renovation. This is a contributing building on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #96000850) and a part of the Winter Garden Downtown Historic District .
