Bowdoin College Hubbard Hall, Brunswick, ME. Bowdoin College, founded in 1794, is a private liberal arts college located in the coastal Maine town of Brunswick. The college enrolls approximately 1,700 students and has been coeducational since 1971.
Designed by Henry Vaughan and built in 1903, Hubbard Hall is regarded by many as the most beautiful building on campus. Built as the College's library, Vaughan designed the building to be a focal point on campus. Today, Hubbard Hall is a multi-use facility.
