Abstract
Dr. Edna L. Saffy’s introduction for Derek Gordon, Associate Managing Director for Education of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Dr. Saffy also introduced and thanked Jay Stein, a Trustee of the Kennedy Center, Stuart Bohannon Evans, President of the Cultural Council of Jacksonville, Earl Farris, Dean of the Humanities and Fine Arts Director of the Nathan Wilson Center for the Performing Arts, Judy hall of Barnett Bank, Jackie Cornelius of the Douglas Anderson School for the Arts, Carolyn Gentry of the Florida Times Union, Jean hall Dodd of the Cummer Museum, Dorcas Tanner of Cerebral Palsy and Gillian Baker.
