Artist Biographical Information
Jonathan Lux (b. 1976) earned his BFA in Painting from Jacksonville University in 2008 and his MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art in London in 2014, the same year he was awarded the Valerie Beston Artists’ Trust prize. His solo and group shows have been held in prestigious international museums and galleries, including the Royal Academy of Arts, London, 2016; Marlborough Fine Art, London, 2015; Victoria House, London, 2014; Henry Moore Gallery - Royal College of Art, London, 2013; University of Maine Museum of Art, Bangor, ME, 2011; Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, St. Augustine, FL, 2010; Museum of Contemporary Art, Jacksonville, FL, 2003.
