In addition to his Highlights In Jazz Series, Jack Kleinsinger produced and promoted a series of separate jazz concerts on NY’s famous tourist cruise ship line, the Circle Line. It would feature, as in his Highlights series, a combination of some of the world’s greatest jazz musicians, selected by Jack. It gave jazz fans a chance to hear one-of-a-kind concerts played by musicians who normally didn’t play together, and to enjoy a sightseeing trip around Manhattan. Before his passing, Jack donated the audio recordings of these one-of-a-kind performances to the Carpenter Library. A selection of the concerts is available here for research and education.
