<center>Barnett Banks, Inc. often referred to as “Florida’s Bank”, began as a small bank in Jacksonville in the 19th century. What started as a single location became one of Florida’s largest banking organizations in the 20th century, with hundreds of locations across the state, and more throughout the southeast United States. In 1998, Barnett Banks, Inc. was sold to NationsBank (now Bank of America).</center>
