UNF Campus Housing
UNF constructed two large housing facilities during the 1990s, Osprey Landing and Osprey Cove, which were built in an identical style, and expanded the campus’s total housing capacity to 1,585 students. The university began construction on Osprey Landing in 1993, and the first of its eventual three buildings opened to students in August 1994. The other two buildings were completed the following year. The Osprey Cove units were built between the spring of 1997 and the summer of 1998, and opened to students just before the fall 1998 semester.

UNF continued to expand its student life and recreation areas through the 1990s to accommodate its ever-growing student body, including those living on campus.
