Cairo Commercial Historic District
Cairo, GA Commercial District 3 . Known as “The Hospitality City,” Cairo is the seat of Grady County and is located 30 miles north of Tallahassee, Florida. The City of Cairo was incorporated in 1870. On the National Register of Historic Places, the downtown district is roughly bounded by Broad Street, Railroad Avenue and Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, with adjacent buildings on 2nd Avenue and 1st Street.
This commercial building is the John Correll Building on the right which houses the Cairo Mam's Boutique & Gifts, and Jake Poller Building on the left which houses the " I can of Cairo" which does martial art instruction, trophies, plaques & medals.
