Hawthorne Historical Museum and Cultural Center
The Hawthorne Historical Museum and Cultural Center is located in Hawthorne, Florida. Originally built in 1907 as an African American church, it was restored saving the old brick piers and panes of red and yellow colored glass. The museum includes paintings by Francis Moore, memorabilia from the office of an early town doctor and items illustrating the heyday of the turpentine distillery.
