On the back is a note written to Mrs. H. L. Wilbur that reads:

Dear Sister:

Rec’d the pkg O.K. and send many thanks. Think it is dandy. Have you rec’d a paper yet, “Needlecraft.” I sent you it for your birthday all. Hope you are getting it alright. Edd. Feake got his leg broken, twice and one arm hurt pretty bad Sat. Horses got frightened by the steam (illegible) worker and threw him out. Ferris has an auto no. Maude wishes us to send her love to you both. I have a dandy embroidery set now. Love, Sis

Had card from Burt tonight is on his way home now.
