A business card for the West Bay Hotel –not over a barroom -- 934 West Bay Street, Jacksonville Fla. – phone number 7532-J, the proprietor was J. A. Skipper. The hotel was located one block east of the Depot on the right. Room rates: 50c, 75c, and $1.00 with bath. The business card also list the hotel in connection to the West Bay Café – 1000 West Bay Street and the corner of Lee Street, both places owned and operated by Americans.
