George Lansing ("Lance") Taylor, Jr. is an avocational photographer and University of North Florida Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer. The collection consists of photographic images, in electronic format, taken by Taylor of historic architectural sites in the United States, primarily in Florida and Georgia. The images, dated between 2005-2012, provide visual documentation of athletic venues, bridges, cemeteries, churches and synagogues, clubs and associations, college campuses, commercial enterprises, financial institutions, fire stations, hospitals, hotels, libraries, lighthouses, memorials and monuments, museums, national parks, post offices, public buildings, residences, schools, signs and historic markers, and theaters.
