Artist Biographical Information

Larry Wilson received his Bachelor of Design Degree in Interior Design from the College of Architecture, University of Florida in 1976. After practicing in Houston, Washington, DC, and New York City, Wilson relocated to Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Wilson was honored with the Bud Merle Foundation Award 2003 for leadership and Design Excellence in the State of Florida. He was honored as Alumni of Distinction, College of Design, Construction, and Planning, University of Florida 2002. He was awarded the ASID Medalist Award, the highest honor bestowed by ASID on a professional member for outstanding service & contributions to the chapter. As an artist, Wilson has exhibited in national museums and galleries included the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville, The Fine Art Museum of the South, Montgomery, Alabama, The Alexander Brest Museum at Jacksonville University and The Nathan Wilson Gallery at Florida Community College in Jacksonville.
