Artist Biographical Information

Grant Ward (1955-2018) majored in electrical engineering at the Ohio Institute of Technology. After working in management for MCI, he left the corporate world to pursue turning wood and spinning metal vessels using a lathe. He sold his works across the country in art fairs and festivals. With his wife Mary Evans Saltmarsh, he founded the Académie de Montessori School in 2000 in Jacksonville.
