Artist Biographical Information

Robin Shepherd earned a Masters of Art at Northampton College of Art in Northampton, England. His experience with TV production at the BBC brought him to Jacksonville in 1973 to work with American public television. Since that time, he has worked as art director at William Cook Agency, and then founded his own design and advertising studio in Jacksonville in 1984. His paintings and commissioned works are to be found in numerous public and private collections including USA Today, National Headquarters, Virginia; MCA Records; Delta Airlines; Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, Jacksonville Transportation Authority; SCM Corporation; Barnett Bank; and Southern Bell as well as numerous others. His series of Jazz Greats received high acclaim when exhibited at Landau Gallery in Los Angeles, and Sandra Krasmon Gallery in New York.
