This presentation goes over the blog of an archival internship at the Jacksonville Historical Society. This specific internship mainly dealt with a collection of documents from the Florida Times Union in the 1960s and '70s. It also involved helping the Jacksonville Historical Society with various projects. It will explore how the Jacksonville Community interacts with its own history. It will also deal with the challenges of historical institutes' efforts to reach out to their communities.
