Description
Through empirical research I will analyze, record, and quantify the elements and qualities of a specific place.
The intention of the project is two-fold. First, it will convey the human experience through objective and well informed data. Second, it will capture the spirit of a place amongst a fluid reality.
The project will utilize a variety collection methods, including individual interviews, questionnaires, and personal observations. Data will then be assembled into matrices, maps, and models. This information can be utilized in both policy and practice, history and sentimentality, and a wide array of theoretical exploration.
I hope to illustrate that the quantitative analysis of a place can represent and affect our culture.
