Description

At this presentation, Susan Williams, history major/DH minor, will discuss plans for a spring 2017 internship in which she will organize a series of workshops for local high school students. With help from project leader Clayton McCarl, associate professor of Spanish and DHI interim chair, Susan will instruct students at these workshops in the theory and practice of electronic textual editing using TEI-XML and engage them in the transcription and encoding of materials from the Eartha MM White Archive. (McCarl will assist Williams in preparing this presentation, but will let her do the presenting.)
