Handwritten note addressed to Miss Ruth Horner, Kent, Ohio that reads: Dearest: Ann at [Lennon] campground. Waiting for dad to return from Miami. I do hope he will have a cottage for…this place is over run with [illegible] with [illegible] & bugs. Went rowing with [Curly] Sunday & ate cocoanuts. He sure is some kid, a perfect specimen of mankind which I thot (sic) had ceased to exist. He will be 22 next May but one would never think it. He doesn’t drink coffee. [Illegible] This camp life has [absolutely] ruined my clothes. Hot as—here but cool…Hope you are well and happy…
