Description
On the Back: Avondale, one of Jacksonville's leading residential developments, and very rapidly built up with homes of unusual architecture and attractiveness, is four miles from the business heart of the city, beyond Riverside, and broad views of the St. Johns River, natural foliage, etc., lend a charm to this section.
In addition, there's a note written to Miss Florence Dobbs that reads:
Thurs. Dear sis, Here we are with cold weather at night and lovely days. Some city but I like it. Write later. Love Bob
