On the back of the card, dated Thursday March 5, a note was written to H.H. Ham that reads: "How would you like to see this bird race. We were going out to the ostrich farm today but it rained. The car came today and we expect to go to St. Augustine tomorrow. Tell Alice will send her a card soon. Mary Lou
