At the bottom of the postcard is a small note written to Mrs. Gertrude S. Wordan that reads:
May 8--1908 Friday morning.
Hello there: This is perfect day. I am writing on the veranda of this hotel, it is a beauty and the park is much prettier than it looks here. H.
