On the back is a note written to Mr and Mrs. J. Bristol that reads:
Saturday
Dear mother and Dad, Bris was given 48 hr. leave and we’re on our way to Miami Beach—we hope to see Bob Sloue. Bris had a cottage for us when we girls arrived Thurs. and another couple is living with us. It’s warm with (illegible) fresh veg. and fruits so we’ll be cooking. (Illegible) love to you both and to Evelyn—Jean
Our trip driving out was fine—4 of us and a 9 months old baby girl!
