One the back is a note written to Mr. A. S. Kellogg that reads:
Hotel Albert. Jacksonville, Florida. Jan 10, 1912
Dear Cousins—We are staying here for a week or two and so far have enjoyed it very much. It is not so warm as (illegible) nor cold as at home. You can buy oranges much cheaper at your store (illegible). Will send for cameo occasionally. (Illegible) Hear from you once in a while. Letters will be forwarded to (illegible)
