Healthy Start/Baby Hotline, 1991/12. This video contains a series of eight PSAs about pregnancy sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida and the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services.
Video #1: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida “No Mother”, 1991/08/26. The first PSA, “No Mother,” warns of the consequences of not going to a doctor during pregnancy can have on a baby.
Video #2: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida “First Time”, 1991/08/26. The second PSA, “First Time,” shows a younger infant in danger of dying and urges the viewer to see a doctor if they are pregnant.
Video #3: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida “Three Women”, 1991/08/26 The third to sixth PSAs, titled in order: “Three Women;” “Mary Jane;” “Nilsa;” and, “Troubles,” feature mothers who drank and did drugs during pregnancy and now urge pregnant women to avoid what they did.
