Description
Cape Meares Lighthouse is located near Tillamook, Oregon. Built in 1890, it was deactivated in 1963. In 1968, the lighthouse became part of the Oregon Sate Parks Department. This thirty-eight foot lighthouse can be found on the Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint and National Wildlife Refuge. It is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #73002341).
