Description
Former Craig & Wilson Carriage Company located in Gastonia, North Carolina. Built in 1899 in the High Victorian Gothic architectural style with a tall center tower above the third floor, a wide arched entry, and elaborate fenestration. The tower was removed in 1949 and the facade was stuccoed circa 1954. The building was also home to the Raylass Department Store. It is now the Carriage Company Lofts. This is a non-contributing building in the Downtown Gastonia Historic District.
