Abstract

A letter from Wesley Bouslog to his girlfriend Opal Valentine Baker, Sulphur Springs, Henry Co., Indiana, describing his day to day activities written on January 1, 1918. The letter includes his mailing address: Camp Joseph E. Johnston, Barracks no. 27, Jacksonville, Fla. and mentions he still does not know the Company number. He also mentions The Red Cross of Sulphur Springs (Indiana), Camp Taylor (Louisville) and Fort Thomas. Written on YMCA letterhead, “WITH THE COLORS”, envelope has the same logo and wording.
