Abstract

This library guide was created for the Florida OER Summit Issues & Trends 2024 conference for a 30-minute presentation Improving and Promoting Library Guides as OER Resources. During this presentation we will:

• Define the term library guides, introduce the strengths and weaknesses of them, and describe the backstory of the project.
• Review a proposed peer-review quality assurance rubric and peer review process for library guides.
• Point to a sample quality-checked badge for library guides.
• Recognize attributes of well-crafted library guides for OER promotion.
