On the back is a note written to Miss Minifred Myser that reads:
Dec. 28th
Dear Minnie—Wasn’t it almost an aggravation to have such a few minutes together? I thought of so many things that I would like to have said. I believe I didn’t even send a message to Miss Baldwin or the others. The parting was so sudden. Mrs. Gage found that our tickets are not good to stop over so she went directly home. Do you have Monday off? I expect to go thurs then the train is to leave here about 9. Of course I would be glad to see you again. If you do can’t you come Thurs? The Gate? Thank you so much for the pretty X-mas gifts. With love (signature Illegible)
