    Hotel George Washington, Jacksonville’s Largest and Finest Hotel, Radio in Every Room, Spacious Ball and Dining Room, Superb Orchestra. Beautifully Furnished Lobby. Every Comfort and Convenience for Guests, Colonial Hospitality.

    In addition there’s a note written to Mrs. Charles E. Hillegass that reads:

    Are leaving here today to come to Phila by boat. Sally left last evening for a visit in Birmingham, Alabama before her return. WE have had a wonderful motor trip of 1,000 miles over the most wonderful roads. Not a hill and (illegible) runs itself. You and Charles must come down next winter. WE have been all through the state this time as we may not come here again. April 8, 1929. Edith
