This piece references a location in the preserve where many of the tallest cypress trees stand close to the border with I295. For this piece, I used a faceting technique that can be seen to resemble bark and other textures found naturally in the preserve. The contrast between the organic and industrial elements in this piece mirrors a juxtaposition found in this area of the preserve, where some of the greatest trees in the forest exist with the constant sound of the highway in the background.
