An advertisement for the St. Johns River Day Line, steamers that ran daily sightseeing tours on the leaving from Main Street in Jacksonville and returning the same day. The schedules: Steamer “Magnolia” -one day excursion to Green Cove Springs 10 a.m. at the Day Line Pier at the foot of Main Street and return to Jacksonville 6:30 p.m. -- $2.00 round trip, Harbor Sightseeing Trip -- Yacht “Helen” – a short tour around the harbor—10 a.m. to Noon --$1.00, and the Afternoon Excursion to the Orange Groves and Mandarin – old home of Harriet Beecher Stowe --2 p.m. to 6 p.m. --$1.50 round trip.
