Abstract
Handwritten sheet: Dated 1841 ? October 11. At top of page: "17 years of age. My birthday this day I wish to make resolutions which shall be kept. I resolve that I will be industrious that I will improve every moment of the time (?). also that I will endeavor to be cheerful (?) and to speak pleasantly to every one.
