Description

This video is a recording of the National Conference Jacksonville leadership breakfast, introductory speech given by Ernie Brodsky noting Blue Cross Blue Shield’s sponsorship of the traveling Anne Frank Exhibit. The video fast-forwards and then stops from 43:07 to 43:26. Herb Walters, a community organizer, speaks on resolving racial and religious tensions. He discusses environmental and economic issues that plague rural areas. He shares the ways that his organization encourages and empowers citizens to stand up for themselves. He explains how his organization helped deescalate the racial tensions in Keysville and the religious tensions in Eastern Europe. The video concludes with another speaker’s closing statements on the event and then prayer.
