Description
Old WRUF Radio Station, University of Florida. The Old WRUF Radio Station is a historic site in Gainesville, Florida, United States. It is located on the University of Florida campus (on the southeast corner of Museum Road and Newell Drive). On September 21, 1989, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
The WRUF Radio Station building opened in 1928. It was built according to the designs of Rudolph Weaver in the Tudor Revival style, The radio station moved in 1957 to new quarters.
