Description
The St. Johns River is a north flowing river that extends 310 miles and flows into the Atlantic ocean. A monument commemorates the landing in 1562 of Jean Ribault on a bluff at the mouth of the St. Johns river. The monument is a part of the Fort Caroline National memorial.
