Description
The St. Johns river is a north flowing river that extends 310 miles and flows into the Atlantic ocean. A monument was erected to commemorate the 1562 landing of Jean Ribault on a bluff at the mouth of the river. The monument is a part of the Fort Caroline National memorial in Jacksonville, Florida.
