Description
Image focuses on the clock tower on the Decatur County courthouse in Bainbridge, Georgia. The tower is similar to a campanile (bell tower generally detached from building). It was built in 1902 in the Neoclassical Revival architectural style and designed by Alexander Blair. Previous courthouses on the site were built in 1824, 1832, and 1855. This is on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #80001011).
