Description
Bisbee Building 2, Jacksonville, Fl. This ten-story reinforced concrete building was designed by prominent Jacksonville architect H.J. Klutho. The Bisbee Building is an excellent example of the high-rise architectural concepts that were pioneered in Chicago. It features Chicago style windows framed by limestone piers and terra cotta details. It was Florida's tallest building at that time. William A Bisbee was the owner of the building, and housed many business offices. It was built in 1908-1909.
