Description
The Emanual County courthouse is located in Swainsboro, Georgia. It was built in 2002 and designed by James W. Buckley & Associates. This is the seventh courthouse for the county as many of the previous structures burned. The current courthouse is a former post office that had been built in 1936. The county purchased land adjacent to the post office and built a large, single story brick structure which incorporated the old Post Office.
