Description

The Hancock County courthouse is located in Sparta, Georgia. It was built between 1881-1883 in the Second Empire architectural style and designed by Parkins and Bruce. This replaced the previous brick courthouse which was torn down in 1881. It is a contributing building on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #74000686).
