Old Confederate Soldiers and Sailors Plot, located in the Jacksonville City Cemetery was photographed on March 6, 2010, in Oakland, Jacksonville, FL, US. In 1893 the Old (Confederate) Soldiers and Sailors Home was opened in Jacksonville to provide for the care of aging and disabled veterans. The home closed in 1938 and is no longer standing.
