Description
The former Guaranty Trust and Savings Bank is located in Jacksonville, Florida. It was built in 1902 and designed by J. H. W. Hawkins. The 1919 addition was designed by Holmes & Ehmann. It operated as Guaranty Trust and Savings from 1903-1922 and as an office building for many years. The building is currently unoccupied. The site is noted for being the final office space (1944-1960) for architect, Henry J. Klutho. During the 1990's, a jaguar mural was painted over the boarded up windows.
