Old State Board of Health Building, Jax, Fl.
This State Board of Health Building was built in 1911. It was designed by Robinson & Reedy, architects in the Neo Classical Revival style. This brick building was dedicated as new Florida Museum of Medicine and Public Health, in 2002, named for Wilson T Sowder, who served as the Florida Health Officer for a long tenure.
