Description
Image of the concrete railing that encircles the main vent of the Green Cove Spring pool. The spring is located on the west bank of the St. Johns River in Green Cove Springs, Florida. The pool tapers down to a funnel that leads to a small cavern and eventually leads to a 25 foot cavern. It trends northeast to the St. Johns River. This is a contributing site on the National Register of Historic Places (NRIS #91000281) and a part of the Green Cove Springs Historic District.
